There’s still flights to Amsterdam and Paris to book. I don’t think I can go to Madrid ): I still need to settle Australia.

And frak, road trip needs epic planning. Plus we need to book the car. And the hostels. And I need to book hostels at other places as well. Shit.

And money is so tight. So, so tight. I should srsly stop eating.

Oh my God. I am panicking, full blown.

Plus it sucks that my food burned through the container and I only realised while eating. I feel a bit sick at the thought of having eaten styrofoam. Gag.

I have my international driver’s permit! I can legally drive ~anywhere~ now. Oh yeah, who’s baaad ^-^

Things are finally coming together! I should start making a packing list, I have things to give people from other people D:

I was just redoing my finance sheet this morning, and I got a huge shock. Apparently, I have been spending waaay too much on my flights (and tbh, my general day-to-day upkeep). I’ve still got money but it’s dangerously low. Don’t worry, I’ve budgeted for almost everything, including food. I just need to add in some random other things, like hostels and maybe-flights.

What this means is I don’t have a lot, or any money really, for general spending. I can’t go buy something just because I like it. I am a HUGE consumer – I like spending money, and on expensive, useless things. This is going to be very difficult for me to contain >_<

I really hope I get a bonus ): Even if it’s a few hundred dollars it would totally help. And I really, really hope, more than getting a bonus even, that the exchange rate stays till I can change money. Or get better! But I’ll settle for it staying (:

So stressed out! But I’ll work it out somehow… I hope >_< Doesn’t help that work today was awesomely stressful as well. Headache galore!

Well. Today I thought I’d update my finances/excel sheet to include the latest prices I’ve paid and air flight numbers and stuff like that, which led me to look at various airline websites. Other than putting down my ‘important flight information’, I found out I have to pay extra to check in baggage. While the cost isn’t that much really (about USD15-25 each for at least two flights), it would be quite the shocker if I hadn’t found out about this sooner.

Hm. This trip is giving me a headache xD

GOT! MY! BOSTON-LONDON! TICKET!!!

Ok I don’t have the actual ticket yet and I hope I’m not jinxing it by saying this but yay I’ve paid for all my North American flights, except for LA-Houston. AWESOME FEELING FTW!!

Right, I should get my to-do list sorted.

1. Settle ALL PARTS of itinerary.
2. Buy flights.
3. Make costume.
4. Make other costume URGENTLY.
5. Change money.
6. Save money.
7. Deposit money -_-
8. Make the flag.
9. Get passport.
10. Apply for ETSA and Australian visa.
11. Get international driver’s license.
12. Get the IYIC card.
13. Get the bag, sleeping bag.
14. Look for the onboard earphone adapter.
15. Prep the cameras.
16. Find out baggage limits for the flights booked.
17. Check if Amsterdam needs a visa.

For now, that should be it… Man, that’s a lot to do. At least it ends on my favourite number ^-^

Edit 18/12/09: Wee things are finally moving forward! I suppose I should add more things to the list but meh, I’d like to clear all these first muahaha.

I just got some more tickets for my flight. Right now I have in my hand (well, my email inbox’s hand really) the flight tickets to all my North American stops, except for LA-Houston and Boston-London, although I’m currently working on the latter. I should get it before the night is over, but man, waiting is torturous.

I just realised I have tickets from everywhere; I have bought from agents such as Expedia.com and STA Travel, as well as directly from WestJet and British Airways. It’s going to be a pain to keep track of everything. I haven’t been doing my finances D: My motto for this whole trip has been: WORK IT OUT. Man, I really, really hope I get a bonus :S

Hrm other than that, there's still the costume to be made D: I really need to get cracking, I have just over a month to finish it. Guh, so tight for time. Plus I gotta get all the sourcing done before January because I have no free days till I finish work D:! STRESS!

Did I mention that I drank something rotten at work today? GAG.

We still need to plan the road trip. It's sizing up nicely, the beginning anyway, since two of us have bought/are literally in the process of buying tickets now. Woot!

Ohh and I realise I would be non-stop on the road from Jan 29 – Feb 27 D: One month of living out of my suitcase! I dunno if I have enough shirts hm. I kinda bought 15 tops over the mini holiday I took. Do I have another 15 more? Hm. Hmm. Hmmmm.

I suppose that's it. Ah! Better get back to what I was doing D:

In other news… I’m not going to be in Singapore for the next few days! Brief respite from the mundanity of day-to-day living with the family.

I should really get cracking on the rest of the stuff I need to do… BAH. I wish I had the decency not to procrastinate!
